Word of the day: Peplum

I had a little bit of a sick day today. I relaxed a little and have done everything from bed- including this blog post. A little later in the day than usual, but sick days have no time schedules right?

Let’s talk about my favourite trend this season! One word: PEPLUM. What is a peplum you may ask. Well, what better way to find out then to go straight to the dictionary.

Definition of Peplum: A short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, or dress.

You’ll see peplums popping up for spring and summer everywhere! I love the peplum addition to simple dress and skirt! Adds such an extra feminine touch. I need to welcome a peplum dress into my closet, soon!

I am looking for a well cut orange or tangerine pencil skirt peplum dress for a couple of weddings coming up this spring/summer. Of course, when you have a specific thing in mind it can be so difficult to find. It has to be under 300. —do you know where I can find one? Number one from Alic &Olivia would be perfect if in a bright colour.
