The pop culture of fashion is pop color. Currently, it’s all in the friendship bracelet. If only I had known I’d fall in love with this look 6 months ago.. I would have stocked up on colorful friendship bracelets while in mexico (dang it)! Instead, I’ve been clicking through etsy sites and blogs to find the perfect combo of color, crystals and of course thinking about which friends to gift this fabulous fashion trend to! When I came across the bracelets above, I had a mini anxiety attack! I want one now! I’m thinking, how I could turn this into a DIY project with some old crystal accessories and bright colored string.

Happy Friday! I’m sure you’ve seen tons and tons of photos of the stunning Royal Wedding! Her dress! Pippa’s dress! The cake! Charming Harry!
And yes, I did wake up a in the middle of the night to watch some of it! My hubby was so kind to move the mattress into the tv room so I didn’t have to get out of bed! I just wanted a small peak of the dress! But once I started watching, I could not stop! The wedding was everything I imagined it to be! So Royal and over the top, but very simple all at the same time! Wouldn’t you agree?
I decided not to flood today’s posts with more Royal wedding pictures… because at this point I’m sure you’ve seen them all!
However here are some links to pages that you might enjoy and relive the magic moment! Everything from who wore what, to what nail polish Kate was wearing!
Happy Friday! Time to Carry on! ;)

Good Morning! I hope you’re all enjoying your extra long weekend!
If you’re home from work today (yay!) Maybe you’re looking for something to do around the house? Maybe a DIY Project??
Since I posted my home tour on the blog, I’ve had lots of ppl contact me asking about the “cute little chalk board” resting on my vanity table.
Well believe it or not, that was a last minute DIY! I love chalk boards! I have two walls painted in our home “Shopping List” in our kitchen and a “ToDo List” in our office. I still had some paint left over, so I thought I would turn a previous DIY Project (White spray painted frames) into new fabulous DIY chalk board. Seriously, it was the easiest thing I’ve ever done! Painted the glass with some chalkboard paint and voila. Plus, perfect for a daily memo!
I found a quick and simple picture tutorial from b*spoke so you can find it easy to make your homemade chalkboard too!
* for the spray paint I used high gloss pure white.

Attention all ladies! It’s that time of year again, time to find the perfect little summer dress! Just in time, Banana Republic has introduced its most covetable and expansive summer dress collection to date! I have to say, they really do have everything you’re looking for! Ranging from black-tie evening wear, to stylish knit maxi dresses that take you from “beach to chic”.
The Palette includes statement solids with fun modern twists of floral and ethnic prints “drenched in the boldest kaleidoscope of hues”. Shopping around the store, trying to find the perfect dress to take home wasn’t easy! Florals and ruffles stole my heart- making the final decision a hard one! I was looking for something flirty and fun, for my trip to Vegas this weekend! Trying on many styles from the collection, I finally found my fave! Can you guess? Bright fushia with ruffles! Perfect for the hot summer sun!
Thank you to all the ladies at Banana Republic on Robson and the lovely Lisa Kwong!
